Coming home from Disney can be such a bummer, but it doesn’t have to be! One of the things I love to do to beat the Disney blues is go through all our photos and create a photo album! Shutterfly has some of the best Disney photo books. I have two, and I absolutely love them! They are fun and easy to create, and we look through them all the time.
Shutterfly has a few different Disney themes to choose from, and they make it really easy and fun to put together.
As a side note, I have no idea why some of these Disney themes are so expensive?? I did not pay $100+ for either of my photo books (both were right around $50). I always just choose the standard page layout so I can add pages (I take LOTS of photos) without it breaking the bank. Shutterfly also runs sales all the time. I would never pay full price for anything on Shutterfly—wait until they have a sale or free shipping at the very least!
If you choose a “Disney storytelling” theme, there are lots of Disney layouts, backgrounds, and cute add-ons to choose from! I love designing each page myself because I get a lot of joy out of it. But Shutterfly does have a feature where it will auto-load your pictures in for you, which takes a lot of the work out of it if that’s not your thing!
I like to tinker around with the layout a lot before I decide on the final look.
So it usually takes me a while to put together a book. Once you place your order, it can take a few weeks for it to print and ship, but in my experience it usually arrives a bit before the quoted turnaround time!
I keep these on the coffee table in our living room, and when we have people over they always pick up and flip through a photo book. I also love having photo books around to help us relive our trips and our favorite Disney memories.
