I think everyone that’s ever visited a Disney park probably has a Disney bucket list. There’s just so much to see and enjoy from Disney all over the world! I want to do everything! The only problem is none of these things are in my budget. But a girl can dream! Here’s what’s on my Disney bucket list:

Stay at the Contemporary Resort (with a theme park view!)

I would never say no to a stay at any Deluxe Resort on Walt Disney Word property—they’re all incredible! But there’s just something about the Contemporary Resort that has always had an allure to me. The minute I first stepped into the Contemporary Resort, I wanted to stay there someday.

I mean, first of all, the monorail runs through the middle of the place! And I love the idea of being so close to the Magic Kingdom that you can walk! The Contemporary has great dining options—Chef Mickey’s, The Wave, California Grill (put a meal at California Grill on my bucket list, too!)—and an awesome arcade that I know Liam would LOVE. My favorite gift shop at WDW is also at the Contemporary—Bay View Gifts! And to top it all off, I would love to stay in a room with a theme park view. Can you imagine watching the fireworks from your room?? I just think that would be amazing!

Visit Castaway Cay

Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. And since the only way you can get to Castaway Cay is by taking a Disney Cruise, I guess this is just my way of saying I need to take a Disney Cruise! I’ve never been on any type of cruise before, but in my mind, Disney Cruiseline takes all the best parts of a relaxing beach vacation and all the best parts of a magical trip to Disney World and combines them into one amazing Disney experience.

Castaway Cay looks absolutely beautiful AND has all the magic you expect from Disney in a tropical beach setting. Is that the dream or what?

Go to Disneyland

A must-do for any Disney fan! It’s the OG Disney park, where Walt himself walked down Main Street and saw his dream come to fruition. I’ve always wanted to visit Disneyland, but even more so after watching The Imagineering Story on Disney+. Seeing the history of the park and what they went through to create it really made me want to experience it! In this dream, bucket-list, world, I would love to spend a week at the Disneyland hotel, exploring all Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure have to offer.

Main Street at Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World
Take a Keys to the Kingdom Tour

Did you know that Disney World offers a ton of different tours? And they’re actually not as expensive as they sound. I would love to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour! Mostly because I just want to see the Utilidor—the tunnels underneath Magic Kingdom! I’ve been totally fascinated by it ever since watching The Imagineering Story. Seeing all those backstage areas and how they really bring the magic to life sounds awesome to me!

Experience Walt Disney World at Christmastime

While we love visiting Walt Disney World in the fall—you know I just can’t ever get enough Mickey pumpkins!—I think Disney World at Christmastime looks absolutely dreamy. I mean, it snows on Main Street during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! How amazing is that?? Haven’t you always wanted it to snow without being cold?? (I have—ever since I was a kid!)

It won’t be this year, since the Christmas party and the dream lights and such are canceled during the phased reopening, but someday soon I would love to experience the magic of Christmas at Disney World.

Celebrate a Birthday or Anniversary at Disney World

This actually sort of goes with the above point because my birthday is in November, and I can’t imagine anything more magical than celebrating my birthday at Disney World while it’s decked out for the Christmas season. Plus just getting the button that says “It’s My Birthday” would make my entire life!

I also dream about surprising Liam with a trip to Disney for his birthday someday! Seeing him light up at going to Disney World for his birthday is just about the best thing I can imagine.

And an anniversary trip would be amazing too! I’d love a chance to do a grown-up Disney trip. (Though right now I can’t imagine telling Liam that we’re going to Disney without him. Maybe someday!)

Date Night at Le Cellier Steakhouse

There are so many amazing restaurants on Walt Disney World property, and to be honest they’re all on my Disney bucket list. But if I had to choose just one, I think it would be Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada pavilion at Epcot. I’d love a chance to get a little dressed up and have a nice meal, and then cap it off with a nighttime stroll around the World Showcase! *heart eyes*
