New Disney Christmas Merch for 2020: My Top Picks!

I know, I know! It’s not even Halloween yet! But shop Disney has a TON of new Christmas merch out, and it seems like new things are added every day! I thought I would share some of my top picks from the new Christmas collection—what’s on my wishlist and what would make great gifts!

Home Decor

My first priority on shop Disney is always the home decor! They make the cutest stuff, and (as you could probably tell from my Halloween decorating post) I love adding Disney touches to my seasonal decorations! The Mickey and Minnie Holiday home decor collection (above photo) for this year is absolutely adorable! I love this style of animation of Mickey and friends—it reminds me of when my kiddo was 4 and wanted to watch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas 7 times a day. 😊 You can even get some of the items personalized, like the tree skirt and the stockings!

Look how cute!! These three items are on the top of my wishlist—the Mickey Joy doormat, the ‘Tis the Season light-up display, and the Mickey and friends ornament set.

The Mickey and Minnie Holiday Countdown Castle is also adorable (little winking gingerbread Mickey!), and there’s a bunch more stuff in that gingerbread-style like a cookie jar and a baking set, which would both make great gifts for any Disney lover that loves to bake.

And if you’re looking to add some holiday coziness to your space, you could not go wrong with this fleece blanket and throw pillow! These would also make fabulous gifts! (If I had an infinite budget, these would be in my cart, too!)

Advent Calendars

In addition to the Christmas Countdown castle above, they also have some great advent calendar options! I know my kiddo would absolutely love the Lego Star Wars one, and the Animators Collection Littles advent calendar is also adorable! They even have 12 Days of Christmas sets with a new pair of Disney socks each day, which would be a great early Christmas present for any Disney-loving guy or girl.

Clothing & Pajamas

I personally don’t think there’s anything better than a fresh pair of cozy Christmas pajamas! Last year, I ordered Star Wars Christmas pajamas from shop Disney for me and my kiddo, and I was really happy with the quality and the fit. There’s not a huge selection right now (pretty much just the plaid matching family line and the gingerbread matching line), but you can get an adult size bodysuit with a hood and pockets so that’s a win! And Disney is always coming out with new stuff, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they added more holiday pajamas over the next few weeks.

There’s a great selection of holiday sweaters and spirit jerseys, too! They’re calling these ugly holiday sweaters, but they’re not ugly at all! The Minnie Mouse Holiday Cheer sweater has sequins!! And I absolutely love this hoodie for boys that has the avengers as gingerbread on it! I’m also a little obsessed with this Jack Skellington as Sandy Claus one, but at $40+ it might just have to live permantly on my wishlist. 😬

Ornaments

I buy at least one (sometimes three) Christmas ornaments every time we go to Disney World. It’s my favorite souvenir, and I love getting to relive our trip memories every year when I decorate the Christmas tree. Even though we didn’t make it to Disney in 2020, I still think I’ll order an ornament or two to add to my collection. They have some beautiful options this year—and I’m super picky about Christmas ornaments!

This Walt and Mickey ornament is beautiful and it’s definitely on my wish list! I don’t usually love character ornaments, but I can’t get over how cute Groot is covered in Christmas lights! We already have Chip & Dale jingle bell ornaments just like these Mickey and Minnie ones (bought a couple years ago in WDW), so these might have to make their way into my cart, too!

Mugs & More

The whole Holiday Home Collection is beautiful, but these are my favorites! I just can’t get over that serving tray, but I have no clue what I would use it for. And the milk and cookies for Santa set is SO CUTE, but we already have a hand-me-down cookie plate for Santa that we use every year.
