Our absolute favorite place to grab a quick lunch at Magic Kingdom is Columbia Harbour House! There are a lot of quick-service restaurants in Magic Kingdom, so it can feel a little overwhelming when hunger strikes and you don’t know which to choose! We usually try to make our way over to Liberty Square for a late lunch. Columbia Harbour House has quickly become one of our favorites due to the fantastic menu and the relatively quiet upstairs seating area—it’s a great little spot to take a midday break and fuel up!

It has a great menu!

We love Columbia Harbour House because it has a really unique menu AND something to please everyone. I’m the only person in my family who likes seafood, so I don’t get to eat it all that often. I love that Columbia Harbour House has a variety of seafood and non-seafood options—everyone in our family is happy eating here! I can get seafood, Korey can get non-seafood, and Liam can get his beloved chicken nuggets and fries (though sometimes he walks on the wild side and chooses mac and cheese 😂).

The lobster roll (pictured above) is my go-to! It’s fresh and not too heavy, with huge chunks of lobster and housemade potato chips—so good! The chicken pot pie is also delicious, and they have some other lighter entrees like the grilled shrimp skewer, grilled salmon, and some great salad options.

It’s also kid-friendly!

Most places in Disney World have pretty kid-friendly menu choices, but if you have a picky eater in the family, Columbia Harbour House is a winner! They have chicken nuggets with fries, macaroni and cheese, and even an Uncrustable PB&J on the kids’ menu. Bonus—Disney restaurants rarely care if adults order off the kids’ menu, so if you’re craving chicken nuggets and aren’t hungry enough for the adult serving, save a few bucks by ordering the kids meal!

Always mobile order!

If you’ve read my blog before then you’ve probably heard me say this a hundred times. Don’t sleep on mobile order! It’s so easy, and I love being able to order our food while we’re waiting in line for a ride or on the PeopleMover—when it’s relatively quiet and everyone can decide what they want without the stress of waiting in a busy, noisy line. Then when you get to the restaurant just click the “I’m here! Prepare my food!” button in the app, and then you’ll get a notification when your food is ready to be picked up! It’s so easy and quick and much better than waiting in a long line of hungry people.

Check out the upstairs seating for a quieter experience!

I hate trying to find an empty table while carrying a tray of food—so stressful! We usually try to eat at off times, grabbing snacks to hold us over until places aren’t so busy. But Columbia Harbour House has an upstairs seating area that almost feels like a secret—I think a lot of people don’t even realize it’s there! In our experience, there are usually plenty of tables available up there and it’s much quieter than the downstairs. The stairs are just to the left of the counter where you order your food, and there’s a condiments/utensils/napkins station up there, so you don’t have to worry about grabbing those things before heading up. We always try to grab a spot by the window so we can chill out and watch the bustle of Liberty Square while we eat and cool off!

What’s your favorite quick-service lunch at Magic Kingdom? Have you ever eaten at Columbia Harbour House? We’re hopeful that it will be reopened for our next trip!
