Disney World is overflowing with food options, and the last thing you might be thinking of doing to prep for your vacation is grocery shopping, but getting groceries delivered to your Disney hotel can save you money and luggage space. Especially if you have littles that need diapers and/or specific food items. The good news is Disney hotels are used to receiving orders like this, and they make it really easy. We place a grocery order before every trip, and here’s how we do it.

Choose a Service

The only grocery delivery service we’ve ever used at Disney is the Orlando-specific Garden Grocer. We’ve only ever had great experiences with this service. Their website is easy to use, and their service is great. There is a bit of a mark-up on items when ordering (which I think you’ll find with any grocery delivery service), along with a $15 delivery fee and an order minimum of $40. (And please don’t forget to tip your shopper!) They do, however, offer a discount for ordering early—if you know what you’ll want at 120 or 60 or 30 days out, you can save up to 25%.

You can also use grocery delivery services you already know and love. Instacart, Shipt, and AmazonFresh all operate in Orlando. Depending on the service you use, you can shop at different stores. For example, Shipt offers Publix and Target while Instacart offers Aldi and even Costco. The big perk with using one of these services is you can often get a same-day delivery window. So if you forgot to place your order or find you really need something in the middle of your trip, these are great options! I personally really like using Shipt—I use it at home all the time.

If you plan to use one of these services, you’ll need to look up the street address of the resort you’re staying at and address your order as follows:

Guest [Your Name] – Arriving [Your Date of Arrival]
DISNEYS [NAME OF RESORT]
[STREET ADDRESS]
LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL 32830-8433
United States
Phone number: ‪[Your Phone Number]

If you use Garden Grocer, you simply need to select your resort in the drop down menu at check-out and make sure your first and last name are entered correctly.

Picking Up Your Order

Your order will be delivered and stored at Bell Services until you can pick it up (with cold items kept refrigerated). If you used Garden Grocer, you probably chose a delivery window of about 4 hours. You should get a text when your order has been dropped off.

Find Bell Services and tell them you have a grocery order to pick up and your name and they will retrieve it for you. If you don’t know where Bell Services is, just ask at the front desk! Pictured above is Pop Century, where Bell Services is actually on the outside of the main building—you can see it to the right of the main entrance.

There is a fee to have Bell Services take your groceries to your room (and you’ll want to tip your bellhop of course if you do this), but they may let you borrow a cart to take it yourself if it’s heavy (like cases of water). We’ve had hit-or-miss luck with borrowing carts at Pop Century, but Bell Services is always very nice and accommodating.

That’s It!

It’s that easy to get groceries delivered to your Disney hotel. We really recommend doing this as it can save you so much time, money, and luggage space. We often order things like bottled water, coffee creamer, fruit, granola bars, and other snack and breakfast items. Depending on the service you use, you can also get beer and wine much cheaper than you’ll find it in the resort gift shop or quick service restaurant. This is also a great way to get diapers, baby food, etc, if you are traveling with very littles.

I hope this post was helpful in your Disney trip planning! Don’t forget to save it to pinterest to refer back to later.
