If you know me, then you know that coffee is VERY important to me. I gotta have it in the morning, but I also love a good afternoon pick-me-up! And I love to try new and specialty coffee drinks when I can! You wouldn’t necessarily think that Walt Disney World is a coffee-lovers dream, but you would be wrong. From the hotel to the theme parks, there’s a lot of good coffee to be had at Walt Disney World. In this post, I’m breaking down everything you need to know to get your coffee fix at Disney World, plus the specialty coffee drinks you don’t want to miss out on!

At the Resort

Morning coffee is the most important coffee, am I right? We cannot function without our morning coffee, and there’s no way we would make it to the parks for rope drop without coffee to get us going. The good news is, almost all Walt Disney World resort hotel rooms have coffee makers. It’s my understanding that non-renovated rooms at Value resorts still might not have coffee makers (at the time of this posting, I think that would only be All Star Sports), but any rooms that have been through renovation should include them. At Value resorts, they are the Cuisinart single-cup style brewers that take the flat coffee pods. Joffrey’s French Roast flat coffee pods (regular and decaf) will be included.

Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea is a Florida local coffee roaster that supplies coffee to Disney World in lots of different places. In my opinion, they have GREAT coffee. I even love the French Roast that comes in the hotel rooms. It’s pretty universal but so good! A perfect morning cup of coffee.

During our most recent Pop Century stay, individuals of CoffeeMate creamer, sugar packets, and sweet ‘n’ low were also included in our room. My biggest gripe is that there’s never enough CoffeeMate. 😂 You could probably call the front desk and easily ask for more, but we prefer half and half anyway so we usually order some with our grocery order (click here for my post on how to get groceries delivered to your Disney World hotel).

Moderate and Deluxe resorts have Keurig style coffee makers that include Joffrey’s k-cups (at the moment you’ll most often find the WDW 50th anniversary blend).

At Resort Restaurants

At Value resorts, you can also get coffee in the quick-service dining location. If you have a refillable resort mug, it includes coffee refills. 🙌 Places like Everything Pop Dining also have a couple of different varieties of Joffrey’s cold brew coffee available (but you’ll have to purchase those separately).

Some Deluxe resorts have coffee bars in or near their lobbies, such as Le Petit Cafe at the Riviera Resort or Contemporary Grounds at the Contemporary. These also offer Joffrey’s coffee.

Many table service restaurants at Disney resort hotels (especially Deluxe hotels) offer specialty blends of Joffrey’s coffee that are REALLY good. You can often get these in a French Press if you dine at certain restaurants (like Topolino’s Terrace or Kona Cafe) for breakfast. Other restaurants that have a special Joffrey’s blend are California Grill, Victoria and Albert’s, Narcoosee’s, Flying Fish, Boma, Sanaa, and more. (Also Hollywood Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios, Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, and Le Cellier in Epcot!) The good news is you don’t have to pay the premium price tag for some of these restaurants in order to experience their coffee. Joffrey’s offers all their Disney specialty blends on their website, so you can enjoy them from home! We especially like the Riviera blend and the California Grill blend!

At the Parks

Did you know every Disney park has a Starbucks? They just might be a little tricky to spot if it’s your first trip! At Magic Kingdom, Starbucks is Main Street Bakery (about halfway up Main Street on the right if you’re walking toward the castle). At Hollywood Studios, it’s The Trolley Car Cafe (on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd). The Animal Kingdom Starbucks is called Creature Comforts (bear left at the Tree of Life and it’s on the left as you’re headed toward Africa). And at Epcot, it’s called Connections Cafe, which you’ll find by going to the left past spaceship Earth after entering at the front of the park. It’s between Connections Eatery and across the breezeway from Creations Shop.

There are also Joffrey’s kiosks everywhere! You’ll find Joffrey’s at the Ticket and Transportation center and in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. There are FIVE Joffery’s kiosks around Epcot—at the entrance, in Future World near TestTrack and Mission Space, at Showcase Plaza closer to the Mexico Pavilion, and in the World Showcase in the America Pavilion and between the UK and Canada Pavilions. In Hollywood Studios, there’s a Joffrey’s kiosk down by Tower of Terror and another one at Pixar Place near the entrance to Toy Story Land. And, finally, at Animal Kingdom there’s a Joffrey’s outside the entrance and one in the Asia section of the park called Royal Anandapur Tea Company.

Both the Starbucks locations and the Joffrey’s locations will often have specialty and seasonal drinks specific to the parks, and they’re always fun to try! I personally love the Game Changer from Joffrey’s—it’s cold brew coffee with Irish cream flavor, a shot of espresso, and cream. Yum!

At Disney Springs

Coffee lovers of all kinds will be in heaven at Disney Springs! Not only are there two Starbucks locations and two Joffrey’s locations, but there are also some very unique and delicious coffee offerings!

First, we have to talk about Gideon’s Bakehouse. Disclaimer: I have not had the chance to try this yet! (We didn’t have time to wait to get into Gideon’s on our most recent trip.) But people rave about both their cookies and their peanut butter cold brew. I can’t wait to try it!

Everglazed also has some awesome specialty cold brews (and donuts!). I personally tried “The Cold Standard” cold brew—cold brew with cream and vanilla and coffee syrups—and it was excellent!

SO MANY places at Disney Springs serve great coffee! Ghirardelli Soda Fountain has both frozen blended and hot espresso drinks. Raglan Road lists hot and iced Irish coffees on their menu. Vivoli il Gelato has a full service coffee bar and Affogato! And I’m sure there are MANY I am missing here.

Bonus

Two things I need to tell you about that don’t *really* fit into any of the above categories. First—Skyliner coffee! If you’re staying at a Skyliner resort or just riding the Skyliner between Epcot and Hollywood studios, grab a coffee when you get off at the hub! The Joffrey’s location here is excellent, and the line goes pretty quickly!

Second—festival coffee! Whenever Epcot has a festival, look for the specialty coffee drinks! We tried the Joffrey’s Coffee Cocktail from the Sunshine Griddle booth when we were there during Flower and Garden Festival in 2021. It ended up being one of my favorite coffee drinks we had on our trip.

Particularly in Epcot, places that don’t look like they would serve coffee sometimes have some of the best! For instance, the Frozen Viking Coffee from Kringla Bakery in the Norway Pavilion is amazing. And I can’t wait to check out Gelateria Toscana, which is the new gelato stand in the Italy Pavilion. They have Affogato on their menu, which is ice cream and espresso. Yum!

I hope all this info will help you find your favorite coffee on your next trip to Walt Disney World! If you already have a favorite, let me know in the comments below! I’m making a list for my coffee tour of WDW on our next trip. I can’t wait to be full of magic and highly caffeinated!
