Disney World has an abundance of restaurants to choose from that run the gamut from just okay to omg delicious. When hunger strikes, it’s tempting to just go to the closest place, but that’s a surefire way to end up with just okay. You definitely want the omg delicious, right? So today I’m sharing our top 5 picks for quick-service restaurants at Disney World—one in each park and one in Disney Springs. These meals are absolutely worth walking a bit further or working into your itinerary. These are the places that we look forward to eating at every time we visit Disney World!

Quick note: If you’re not very familiar with Disney World lingo, the two main types of restaurants are quick service and table service. Quick service places are Disney’s version of fast food, where you order at the counter and find your own seat. You do not need an advanced dining reservation (ADR). These are also going to be much more affordable than any table service restaurants!

A meal at Regal Eagle Smokehouse restaurant in Disney World with a cup of barbecue sauce on the left next to a brisket sandwich on garlic toast and a side of white macaroni and cheese with a fork stuck in it.
If you’re in EPCOT, go to Regal Eagle.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse is a restaurant specializing in barbeque and craft drafts. It’s located in the America Pavilion in the World Showcase.

This might be our number one favorite quick-service restaurant in all of Disney World. The food never disappoints, and the dining area is huge (always open tables!) and indoors (air-conditioned!). It is worth the walk to the back of the park to eat here instead of somewhere like Sunshine Seasons, which can be really hit-or-miss. (That said, we haven’t had a chance to try Connections Eatery yet so we can’t compare it to that one!)

I personally love the Beef Brisket Sandwich or, if I’m not as hungry, the BBQ Rib kids’ meal. Whatever you order at Regal Eagle, I highly recommend getting the mac and cheese as your side. It is SO good. We also love the onion rings!

lobster roll with house made potato chips for lunch at columbia harbour house, one of the best restaurants in disney world
If you’re in Magic Kingdom, go to Columbia Harbour House.

Columbia Harbour House is located in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom. If you’re burnt out on standard theme-park fare or looking for a lighter meal, this is the perfect spot! They have a really unique menu that includes a delicious lobster roll (my go-to!), grilled salmon, and an apple-cranberry chicken salad among other things. And they still offer chicken tenders and fries (along with fried shrimp and battered fish) for anyone in your party that loves the standard fare!

Another huge plus to this location is the upstairs seating area, which is large and rarely crowded (in our experience). It makes a perfect spot for a nice mid-day break from the heat and the crowds in Magic Kingdom.

Also, get a side of hushpuppies. Trust me!

A hand holding a retangular pastry with bright green icing, halloween sprinkles, and candy corn on top from Woody's lunchbox, one of the best restaurants in disney world.
If you’re in Hollywood Studios, go to Woody’s Lunchbox.

Woody’s Lunchbox in Toy Story Land has hands down the best quick-service food in Hollywood Studios. The only place that might be able to rival it is Docking Bay Seven in Galaxy’s Edge, but we still prefer Woody’s Lunchbox. Our favorite meal to get here is breakfast—the breakfast bowls are SO good and a huge portion for the price. For lunch or dinner, I usually go for the grilled cheese sandwich. And I love to try the featured lunchbox tart! (Pictured above is the pumpkin lunchbox tart which was the special in October 2022.)

The only drawback here is the seating situation, which is all outdoors and can get very crowded at meal times. We usually try to eat at off-times when it’s a bit easier to find an open table.

A plate with two cheeseburger pods and a slew of vegetable chips with a pink colored slushy drink in the upper left corner.
If you’re in Animal Kingdom, go to Satu’li Canteen.

You’ll find Satu’li Canteen in Pandora at Animal Kingdom. This is such a unique and immersive restaurant. The first time we dined here I was so shocked that it was quick-service! I love to get the cheeseburger pods that come with vegetable chips. They also offer a variety of customizable bowls—you can choose from sweet potato hash, salad, or rice as a base and then add chicken, beef, shrimp, vegetables, sauces, etc. So good and different than anything you’ll find anywhere else in Disney World!

The dining area at Satu’li Canteen offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is quite large. We’ve never had an issue finding a place to sit here.

A cup with the Chicken Guy! logo next to a paper sleeve of chicken tenders and one of seasoned fries and two dipping sauce cups.
If you’re in Disney Springs, go to Chicken Guy.

Chicken Guy is one of the best value meals you can get at Disney World! Find it in the Town Center area of Disney Springs. There’s sometimes a line out the door (and this is the only spot on this list that doesn’t offer mobile order), but in our experience the line moves quickly and is absolutely worth it! The menu here offers, of course, chicken tenders and fries, but they also have a killer chicken sandwich and loaded mac and cheese. But their major boast is TWENTY-TWO different dipping sauces to try! If you’re a sauce fan, this is a must-do! The chipotle ranch is my personal fave!

They’ve recently expanded the inside here so there are more tables, which is hugely helpful in finding an open seat. There are also lots of tables outside. I promise the food here is worth it! We ate here twice on our last week-long Disney trip.

Don’t forget to mobile order!

Using the mobile order feature in the My Disney Experience app is KEY to a stress-free and fast quick-service restaurant experience. I love to order our food while we’re waiting in line for a ride, away from the stress of a busy line and crowded restaurant. Sometimes I’ll even put our order in for lunch while we’re on the way to the park in the morning becuase you can choose times for way later in the day (and sometimes they fill up!).

Another tip, especially when mobile ordering—Disney nearly never cares who is ordering a kids meal at quick-service restaurants. So if you’re not hugely hungry or don’t love huge portion sizes, you can save so much money by ordering a kids meal instead of an adult portion. I almost always do this at Woody’s Lunchbox for breakfast (the adult size breakfast bowl is HUGE and way too much for me) and Satu’li Canteen with the cheeseburger pods.
