Hi, my name’s Liz, and I became addicted to Disney merch while in quarantine. 😆 I know I can’t be the only one! One of my favorite things about running a Disney blog and Instagram account is discovering new Disney small shops! There are so many amazing creators out there making really fabulous products, and I love shopping small whenever I can! Not only are the items unique, but I feel like I can really get to know small shop owners from following them on Instagram. There are so many Disney small shops out there, it can be a bit overwhelming! I wish I could support them all, but here are my favorite Disney small shops that I’ve purchased from so far!

(Disclaimer: I am not a brand ambassador or sponsored by any of the shops below. All purchases have been made with my own money!)

Ears

In my opinion, Minnie ear headbands are one of the best things to purchase from a Disney small shop instead of from shopDisney or from the Disney parks. Disney sometimes comes out with some really cool and beautiful ear designs, and it can be so fun to try and get your hands on the latest trendy style (I have a pair of the briar rose gold ears, and I absolutely love them). But there are so many more choices from creative small shop owners! And in my experience, ears from Disney small shops are way more comfortable (and oftentimes more affordable!) than the ones you get from Disney.

My favorite small shops for ears are ETicket Essentials and Dash Designs Boutique. Dash Designs Boutique has beautiful, handmade sequined, velvet, and patterned ear headbands. I have a pair of her purple sequined ears and they are so beautiful and comfortable! ETicket Essentials sells way more than just ears—they also have stickers, jewelry, and headbands! I own a pair of their 3D printed interchangeable ears which are just so cool. You have to purchase the headband, bow, and ears separately, but once you have a headband you can attach any combo of ears and bow to create your own custom look!

I also have a couple pairs of ears from an Etsy shop called Ulous. These are super affordable and very lightweight and comfortable! Simple, but just perfect if all you need is a basic pair of ears or if you’re looking for a holiday-themed pair of ears!

T-shirts

The world of Disney small shops that make t-shirts is HUGE! I’ve amassed quite a collection over the past few years, but there are so many creative designs that they’re just hard to resist! I love coordinating my outfit choices to the parks we’ll be visiting each day of our trip, so fun Disney t-shirts are a MUST for me!

My absolute favorite Disney tees come from Happiest Day Co. Omg her designs are EVERYTHING. And all of her stuff is very high quality. Her shop isn’t open all the time, but she usually has drops on Thursday nights. Follow her on Instagram to keep up with her openings. It is worth the wait I PROMISE.

If you’re looking for a huge selection of Disney and other fandom t-shirts, you have to check out Polka Dot Pixie Shop! They also sell mugs, phone cases, home decor, and TONS more. I could look around their website for HOURS (I mean, let’s be honest, I probably have). From your favorite attraction to your favorite movie, they have something for whatever you might be looking for! My absolute favorite from them is their WDW parks collection—these designs are so beautiful!

Blair Lamb Design isn’t specifically Disney, but I have to mention it anyway just for the handful of Disney designs that she has because they’re so cute! I personally own this floral mouse head design and this pastel Mickey balloons design. She also has this adorable new 4 parks design. I have been so happy with everything I’ve ordered from this shop! Most of the items are embroidered or printed on Comfort Colors tees, which is one of my favorite brands, and the quality is amazing!

There are literally SO MANY more Disney small shops that sell t-shirts—I could go on for ages! I love supporting new small shops whenever I can, so if you have any recommendations for me let me know in the comments below!

Accessories

If you’re an Epcot lover like me, you NEED to check out Castle Co. She also makes t-shirts, but I included her here because of her Grand and Miraculous collection. I have both the fanny pack (which is not available right now) and the backpack, and they’re some of my favorite Disney accessories I own! I always get compliments on these bags, and I think they’re so unique and unlike anything else out there!

If you’re looking for a huge selection of Disney (and other fandom!) themed accessories, Geekily Ever After has your back! Samantha makes and sells almost any accessory you could need—headbands, earrings, pouches, bags, masks, and even the cutest magnetic bookmarks! I love everything I’ve ever ordered from her shop, but especially her masks! They are the most comfortable masks we have—everyone in my family has at least one and they’re our favorites.

And if you’re looking for more ways to add a subtle hint of Disney magic to your everyday style, I recommend Make It Minnie. Ashley sells the prettiest dainty Disney-inspired jewelry and clothing that’s perfect for park days and Disney bounding! And her customer service is OUTSTANDING. I had a problem with an order from her once, and she shipped me a new item right away no questions asked! I love that all of her stuff is so subtlely Disney—you would probably be the only one that knew you were repping your fave movie or character! 😊

clear vinyl Disney themed pouches and bags
Misc.

Amy’s Small World sells clear plastic travel bags and pouches. I absolutely love these bags! I use the large one to pack my ears—it can fit multiple pairs and keeps them protected in my suitcase! I also have the straw bag and the “mask bag.” Since we don’t bring masks into the parks anymore, I use the “mask bag” for my park bag essentials. Keeping everything in this little pouch makes it so easy to switch between bags. Check out my 10 Things You Need in Your Disney Park Bag for more on this! These bags are super sturdy and well-made—I’ve been using mine for years and they look brand new! And she has a great variety of fabric prints to choose from.

I hope you found a new small shop to love somewhere in this post! Let me know where you get your Disney merch fix in the comments below! 😊 And if you have a Disney trip coming up soon, make sure to check out all my Disney vacation tips before you go!
